Reviews
"The smoothness of Grooves extend to the two rides. The sound is rooted in warm tones, but the warmth is part of a brighter overall presence. The stick sound is utterly beautiful - a clean metallic ping against a near-perfect shimmer of wash. No matter how fast the rides are played there isn't any meaningful build-up of wash, with each stroke remaining well-definened. Away from riding duties, these open for crashing, with the 20" model being naturally a little quicker off the mark and also in its decay. Due to its higher pitch, the bell of the 20" ride carries further than that of the deeper 22", but the mellow tone of the larger cymbal makes it the clear winner." - Adam Jones
"Groove Rides are all-purpose cymbals. They're fully lathed on top and partially lathed on the bottom, and they're a bit heavier than the other models, so they could cut through at
higher volumes while retaining a high level of musicality. You shouldn't be afraid to take these on an intimate jazz
session or a more intense funk/rock gig-they are designed to do it all." - Team
"The Groove rides are definitely darker than some cymbals I have played, but they did have a bright point to them that
cuts through an acoustic band easily. Even though they have a nice attack, the cymbals are thin enough to have some wash for crashing and can function as a multipurpose crash/ride. At higher volumes, they still retain their character and do not wash out as thinner cymbals might tend to do." - Shopper
