Reviews
"Dark, complex tones. Fine hand-hammered build. Excellent playability. Often unlathed hats can struggle to cut through, but wash with a metallic rasp that belies their weight. Closed sticking is clear and articulated brightly, without being too severe, and half-open they fall easily into a lazy wash that can be controlled easily. Pedalled, the 'chick' is pronounced - again, not always a given with 'Turk'-style hi-hats - and struck and then closed, the 'scoop' sound cuts through, making disco-eighths a real possibility." - Jake Stacey
"A true hand forged instrument of uncompromising quality beauty and aural nuance. These rare treasures offer up a dark, dry fundamental tone, precise articulation, and an organic earthy response." - Dennis
"All Bosphorus cymbals are excellent, but Master Vintage cater to my preferred taste in tones the most. The main tonal quality you’ll find in these cymbals is dryness. They have less sustain than the other Bosphorus cymbals, meaning they get out the way incredibly quickly when you play them. They also have amazing stick definition." - Brett Clur
