    "With SW rides there is clearly an emphasis on providing just about every option. They are all about the stick sound and they give a warm and tangy "tah" that is supported by a multilayered and eager wash. The lightest of touches provokes enticing edge wobble and it opens readily for crashing. Larger rides are drier overall with a slightly tighter stick sound and a wash level that errs more on the respectful side. No amount of note flurries can persuade it to unravel and it relays the most furious of stickings with composure; it’s a textbook example of a dig-as-deep-as-you-like ride. They also elicit good strong responses from the bell, which isn't always the case with this type of complex ride." - Adam Jones

    "While the word “trashy” would be the typical describer of cymbals like these, I don’t find the Syncopation cymbals to be as trashy as cymbals from other brands. You’d usually use one or two trashy cymbals in a setup, as more than that would create an overwhelming sound. However, the sound is a lot more complex and musical here, and I can easily see a drummer using a full set of these cymbals. You also get two options in this series. The SW cymbals have been sandblasted and have more stick articulation, while the lathed versions are a bit brighter." - Brett Clur
