"21" Ride offers a rather "normal" sound behavior with a very easy way of playing, consisting of a transparent ping sound and dark-sounding sustain, if there weren't already a slight amount of trash in the background in the end. "The 21" Ion Dark Ride sounds dry, clear and dark on the profile, has a slightly metallic attack. However, this cymbal is not loud either. Instead, it hangs on the stick in a controlled manner, the bell also sounds nice and clear, but is subtle. Of course, the holes give the it a certain trashiness, especially in the sustain, but this doesn't dominate.
