Reviews
"The AAX Aero Crash cymbals sound very special, first of all there is the explosive, bright and cutting attack, which vehemently lodges in the ear canal. The sustain is idiosyncratic, bright and quite treble-heavy. It becomes significantly quieter after a short decay time, but then stands for a relatively long time with a transparent and gently modulating sound. The three models fit together very well in terms of tone and actually offer the same sound behavior, only in different pitches." - Ralf Mikolajczak
"Explosive, cutting attack. Very bright in the sustain, high-pitched, becomes significantly quieter in the decay, but the sustain remains for a relatively long time." - Team
"Dark, airy, short sustain, and a really weird but cool sounding bell." - Cat Drumming
"The cymbal really cuts thru but is not overpowering and sound like a china. It has a very unique sound to it." - Troy Mahler
"When I first struck one of the multi-hole Aero crashes, the unabashed shimmer jolted my senses and lanced my preconceptions. Although I was expecting a combination of flash, trash, and crash, the immediacy of the attack caught me off guard. The crux of the sound rocketed out and dissipated quickly, leaving a
metallic afterburn in its wake. The 16 served as the best crash/ride with a succinct decay that bled nicely into the following strike. Some drummers might embrace the Aero as offering their ideal crash sound, while others could view it as a cool alter native for adding spice and color." - David Clauro
