Over the course of the last decade, Xilxo went through a transformation to finesse in Turkish cymbal sounds never found elsewhere. West Coast in context with this uniqueness features heavy hand hammering. Their smaller bell with amplified lathed underside and the two lathed stripes on the upper edge provide a balanced dry and focused stick sound with shimmering decay resulting good crashing abilities and excellent ride patterns.

  "After over a year playing it I must say it is an exceptional jazz ride. Thin and crashable. Good wash and also good shimmer, but decays quickly (pretty tough combo wash+fast decay). Can clearly hear stick. But stick isn't a metallic ping and it's also not a dull wooden thud. Can play very soft or moderately loud, but in a jazz setting with no more than 7 other instruments.
