The New Orleans showcases a unique production process, starting with a raw hammered cymbal that is then wide-lathed in a continuous spiral from the bell to the outer edge. This results in a one-of-a-kind sound profile, with woody stick and trashy undertones, as well as a wider spread than the Turks and less wash than the Traditionals. These are equally at home in a jazz kit or contemporary setup.
