Lyric Series are designed in close collaboration with Ari Hoenig who has a fiercely individual approach to jazz drumming which is borne out in the character of these cymbals. Rides have significant deep hammering providing a clean stick articulation. Rides are quite thin and shimmery with musical overtones. Hammered bells balance rich dark undertones. 21" rides have three heavy rivets, providing sizzling yet controlled decay. The rides can be used for warm crashes. Heavy fat hats with strong crisp cut through sonics compliment all.
