  "26" Ride has probably the darkest attack with a short mini shimmer of overtones I've ever heard. When playing lightly, a deep rumbling and rapidly modulating sustain characterizes the sound. But if you just hit it a little harder - and the limit is clearly shown in terms of sound - an extremely crashy to slightly gongy sound with an oriental note develops. The peak sound can only be described as very muted and bone dry. There is nothing to be gained here for a concise drive, but such a cymbal has its own, albeit special, tonal charm." - Ralf Mikolajczak
