"It has an extraordinary sound somewhere between a crash and china. The sound is generally described as trashy "white" noise and that pretty much sums it up good. However, it's not as brutal as some big crashes without holes, the playing feel is very soft, the cymbal is quite thin, you literally dip the stick into the cymbal.
