The 17" and 19" are the right combination for the club gig. 19" plus 21" station wagon is then the right choice for the larger stages. This aggressive sound can be used particularly well with crisp funk rock played. With a hearty playing style, a certain trash factor develops in the attack and a mids in the sustain. "19" for a china is pretty big imo, but thanks the holes his sustain is not too long and it's prefect for both explosions as well as keeping the time.
