  "This is the voice that finally completed my "jazz arrangement". For one thing, these cymbals have a unique "tic" about them. They emit enough of a brilliant tone that it sounds like it's going "ping", but they are equipped with a very distinct (and very delicious) "slap" on the stick. It still throws me how bright this cymbal is. It's the first fully lathed cymbal I've bought that isn't paper thin. Each day when I touch it for the first time, I flinch a little, but only for a second. Relax, it's a Bosphorus! One thing about these cymbals that makes me happy is that they all have a 'decibel ceiling'. The Traditional likes to be played with a "medium energy" I've discovered. Medium speeds, medium power. And it does so beautifully, but even if you start digging in, playing faster, the overtones seem to roll back at some point.
