The Istanbul Agop Cindy Blackman OM series was developed in collaboration with Cindy Blackman-Santana in her quest to create the perfect sound. With its classic power-jazz qualities and nod to Tony Williams, this line is capable of withstanding intense playing and captures the vibrant, dynamic cymbal tones of Jazz's golden age.

Reviews
"Dynamic, jazz range encompassing Cindy's musical experiences. The OM crashes blend together perfectly, shimmering into life quickly when hit. Initial brightness soon gives way to a more involved mix of frequencies, centered around a low, dark note." -Ā Adam Jones
"I usually prefer to mix and match series and models from different manufacturers to have a wide palette of sounds to work with. But the Om series felt great as a complete unit, whether played in a straight-ahead jazz context or as part of a vintage-style classic-rock setup. I really enjoyed how these cymbals could build to a roar without sounding harsh or indistinct. Even when struck firmly, they sounded mature and "worn in," with softer highs and more mid and low frequencies than I expected from cymbals fresh out of the kiln. The 16", 18, and 20" Om crashes were perfect complements to the ride. The 16" had a gritty but shimmering crash sound, while the 18" had a more aggressive edge. The 20" crash worked well as a washy secondary ride and as a big, emphatic crash." -Ā Michael Dawson
