  "15" hi-hat proves to be extremely dark and dry in sustain. The attack is muted and puts the stick sound in the foreground. This has a certain definition in moderate play, but is strongly integrated into the overall sound. Amazingly, you can play very hard on this hi-hat, but it just doesn't get louder from a certain dynamic level. So you can work on this hi-hat with a strong, crisp big band style without overwhelming it. You have to decide on a case-by-case basis whether such a dark sound can prevail." - Ralf Mikolajczak
