Reviews
"The Bash rides are so named because of their crashing capabilities, but they make the most precise, almost delicate, of ride cymbals. The 21" model produces a tight stick sound above a murmuring wash and will sit there all set, if you wish.
Crash either of them though and they rear up in a wave of sound. It is loud yet relatively mellow with it." - Adam Jones
"I play in a pop punk band and usually do a lot of wash riding and crashing on my ride. This cymbal is perfect for that role: not only does it have the power to stand out when I crash on it it also sounds amazing being used as a traditional ride with a great bell." - J. Bruce
"The 21" Bash ride is a lot like its bigger brother, so if you like the concept of this cymbal but don't want to haul
around a massive seven-pound hunk of bronze, then you can get a similar sound with the smaller version. The pitch was slightly higher, but everything else was comparable. fashion was a pleasant surprise. All in all, this thing is truly sweet. Yes, if you lean into it, the overtones will quickly build up. But in low- to medium-volume situations, it generated a very "pretty" tonality. It was particularly great for playing ballads, which is counterintuitive for a cymbal with the word bash in its name." - Mark Parsons
