• A whole new style of hammering − much more visible on the surface of the cymbal due to the larger, rounder peen − makes for a more complex and slightly darker crash.

  "You don't have to "hit" these cymbals to create a full crash sound with a good presence. However, you can also go straight to the point, because the dynamic range really goes up steeply here. Especially with the 20" cymbal, extremely powerful crash accents with a strong presence and a full body can be created. They enable such present accents even in the thickest of thunderstorms of sound, and this without even showing the trace of harsh or glaring sound components.
