"It is bright, dark, cutting, and sensitive all at the same time. The cymbal, when struck fairly hard, produces a rich, bright shimmer which decays at a moderate rate; perfect for the louder, more open parts of a song. When it is struck with a softer hit, the cymbal's dark undertones come out without overpowering the music. No matter how soft this cymbal is hit, it always opens up. As for crash-riding, it works perfectly. Because of its ability to open up so easily, there is no need to hit the cymbal hard to get a good crash-ride sound.
